We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative softwarePartner with the bestAs a Senior Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of the development process, ensuring the continuous improvement of code. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Domain Experts to create features for our applications. You will engineer and develop versatile products and services for the energy industry.As a Senior Software Engineer (Java), you will be responsible for:Acting as a member of the Software Centre of Excellence managing high quality design and development practicesDeveloping high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end web applicationsCollaborating with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with.Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Documentation Practices and Testing TechniquesWriting codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).Have a minimum 8+ yrs of experience in Java/J2EE with understanding of object-oriented programming and design patternsHave an experience developing web applications/micro services using Spring Boot, RESTful, and Web ServicesHave an experience in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, ReactJS.Have experience in one or multiple Database like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, NoSQLHave good problem solving ,troubleshooting skills and develop reliable, cost effective, high quality solutions for complex products.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
