Instrument and controls Engineer
Our Operator Client is hiring an Instrument and Controls Engineer on a long-term contract based in Aberdeen City. The role involves being responsible for technically managing Honeywell and EPC vendors to implement the replacement of the safety system offshore. They will also be required to interface with offshore operations personnel in planning for the system.
The candidate must be:
Experienced in Safety System design, modification, operation.
Experienced in functional safety.
Experienced using Honeywell is preferred.
Knowledgeable around all aspects of control and instrumentation engineering - through understanding the functionality of Honeywell safety system controllers, their interconnections to I/O, Marshalling and field devices.
