Position Summary The Data Manager / Analyst participates in all phases of data collection, processing, and reporting at a customer site. The primary responsibilities of this role are to perform quality assurance, quality control, and data entry for data holdings used in standard products, non-standard products, and/or in support of mission requirements, and to create, maintain, and run reports to aid in the performance of those duties. This position will require successful award of appropriate DoD security clearance (based on position and assignment). This position resides in Suitland, MD. Responsible for generating data quality reports. Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) procedures to routinely ensure data quality and integrity during multiple phases of data capture. Perform data entry to enhance the accuracy and coordination of data between different datasets/databases. Maintain configuration control thereby ensuring precise data records. Create, maintain and improve documentation and data maintenance procedures Work with Software Engineers regarding enhancements and/or improvements to data/database tools and reports. Identify, assess and implement improvements to processes to deliver a better product Understand linkages between multiple SQL databases used for different functions or users. Support program reviews and technical reviews of various documentation deliverables. Will be required to participate in at sea exercises or data collection missions of various durations. Durations normally are between 15 and 30 days but can be as much as 120 days. Annual requirement is 30 days. Ability to pass and maintain a maritime physical. Must take maritime safety training IAW the US coast guard guidelines and meet physical, dental, and regional immunization requirements. Additional duties as assigned . Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Information Science and technical or related field with 2-5 Years of real-world experience in data management, additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree Ability to coordinate with IT, Software, and Analyst professionals is critical. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required. Must hold/acquire a TS/SCI with Polygraph. Ability to obtain/maintain Security+ Certification. Ability to solve problems with minimal support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be a US citizen. DESIRED Experience with SQL, Microsoft Access, and Python. Experience with ESRI ArcMap, ArcPro and/or Portal. Familiar with limitation of working on a closed network. Knowledge of products like SonarWiz, Hypack and WinFrog. Experience with Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), & Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and their support equipment. Experience with SLS systems, Doppler Sonars, Navigation & underwater cameras equipment.
