Innovating in the energy industry, our subsea and surface pressure capabilities are industry-leading.Partner with the bestAs a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. This will include; activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Requiring mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge, who has developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:Ensuring that product design conforms with a field proven or qualified technologiesEnsuring technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirementsGenerating on and / or reviewing of technical procurement specifications, parts and document suitesManaging engagement with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) and developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships in order to meet programme scheduleManaging product and task ownership including the generation of robust design files to demonstrate due diligenceEnsuring that best practice is followed to achieve maximum levels of safety, quality and efficiencySupporting Procurement, Manufacturing and Services Teams throughout product lifecycleFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering/Technology) Have proven additional experience in Mechanical Component, Specific Subsea and or Offshore design experienceHave good language and communication skills in both Norwegian and EnglishHave a good understanding of hazardous area (ATEX, IECEx) requirements and component selectionHave extensive experience and knowledge of the design and operation of Hydraulic Control SystemsHave a continuous improvement mind-setHave experience of working in a global teamHave sound computer base knowledge (MS Word/Excel/Outlook/CAD) Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
