Position Summary Responsible for maintenance and mobilization of equipment for jobs to include, but not limited to, darkrooms, and camera sources. Repair and maintenance of mechanical units to include testing, calibrating and aligning equipment, as well as performing general housekeeping and corrosion control in an onshore yard work environment. Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL Follow all company procedures and policies in place to insure a safe and productive workplace. Maintain and mobiliz e equipment for jobs to include, but not limited to, darkrooms, and camera sources. Responsible for darkroom preparation, maintenance and repair. Repair and maintain mechanical units to include testing, calibrating and aligning equipment . Complete Transportation Request and Equipment Movement Orders. Load darkrooms on/off transportation vehicles as needed. Perform safe operation of various forklifts. Maintain parts and supplies inventories associated with all Mechanical Integrity kits. Qualifications REQUIRED High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) DESIRED 12 months of formal electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic training. Prior experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. Forklift certifications. Valid TWIC and Passport. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem solving. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals. Treats others fairly and with respect. Knowledge of department's policies, rules, regulations, business goals, vision, organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles and values, etc. Ability to establish and maintain project priorities. Seeks out new learning experiences. Identifies what needs to be done and takes action before being asked or required. Additional Information This position is considered SHOP/OUTDOORS WORK which is characterized as follows. Primarily outdoors during the day and occasionally at night. Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment. Humidity is frequently above 90%. Noise is over 85 decibels. Light is intense/glare. Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks. Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases. Work surface is stable. Constant exposure to dust.
