Diversity & Inclusion Advisor Purpose of Role The role will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive, industry-leading Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategy aligned to business goals and objectives. The role will go beyond the primary legislative and compliance requirements and support creating an environment where difference is embraced, and individuals can flourish. Areas of Responsibility Competence Level In partnership with the wider HR group, drive interventions and programmes across teams and geographies to embed inclusive processes, procedures, interactions, and behaviours Develop standards on DE&I initiatives, enabling global alignment with Harbour's business strategy, and the employee value proposition by assessing organisational practices and processes. Enhance people/talent knowledge and skill on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion issues, create and manage appropriate affinity groups/Employee Networks e.g., gender, sexual orientation, religion, race, age; and, advise on recruitment and retention initiatives. Translate equality legislation into practice to ensure the company meets all statutory requirements Create DE&I analytics to understand and track performance in the organisation, including legislative requirements. Create and manage Diversity celebrations through organised events and awareness sessions. Partner with the business in a consultant capacity to support their DE&I goals Qualifications Experience, etc Strong influencing skills. Proven interest and track record in the delivery of DE&I strategy Hands-on approach, experience managing projects end to end Ability to influence people at all levels to build support and drive change Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team Good knowledge of external DE&I best practices.
