Lead Design Engineer ITO/OTRAre you a Design Engineer looking for a new direction?Would you like to be involved in designing innovative products?Join our Oilfield Equipment TeamAs a global team, we design and deliver surface pressure control equipment, as well as support field maintenance, commissioning, and de-commissioning. Innovating in the energy industry, surface pressure control capabilities are industry-leading.Partner with the bestAs a Lead Design Engineer, you will facilitate customer needs into operative and realistic plans. You will be collaborating across multiple teams to assure requirements are captured in drawings and the design is finalized on time.You will be responsible for: Supporting a global Application Engineering organization in the pursuit of new business and maintaining existing business of Surface Pressure Control (Surface Wellhead and Tree) product.Developing Surface Wellhead and Tree technical solutions which fit the needs of the client while emphasizing proven technologies and existing solutions.Generating designs, machine detail drawings, stack up drawings, Bill of Material and technical write ups to meet customer requirements.Preparing designs having distinctive design features that can differ significantly from established drafting precedents.Ensuring Application Engineering deliverables are completed within the agreed timeline.Supporting sales project, including participation in client facing activities (presentation, review, and communication).Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.Employing the best combination of all preliminary information and contributing data to develop final design.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Engineering for Pressure Control Equipment - API 6A /API 16A.Have experience with 3D models and 2D machine detail drawings using CAD software.Have good oral and written communication skills.Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Have the ability to apply thorough knowledge of engineering and drafting standards, codes and regulations affecting particular disciplines or drafting projects.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
