Our client is currently seeking a Procurement Buyer for a 6 month remote contract. Summary: Procurement Buyer will be responsible for reviewing entered Purchase Requisitions, converting to Purchase Orders, and issuing the Purchase Orders to vendors and contractors in support of the Procurement Manager. The successful candidate for this position will be able to establish reliable lines of communication with Procurement, Project Management, Operations and Asset Management team members to verify that all Purchase Requisitions are accurately entered into the ERP system and converted to Purchase Orders for issuance to vendors and contractors in a timely manner. Procurement Buyer will also perform various activities around new vendor setup process which entails establishment of NDA and credit applications. Responsibilities:Purchase Requisition review and verification of DOA approval in the ERP systemUnderstand priority of Purchase Requisitions to be processedConversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders and issuance of Purchase Orders to vendorsObtain signatures on the Purchase Order for acknowledgment.File completed Purchase Order documents in SharePointCreate and upkeep PR/PO status reports by each department/projectEnsure accurate routing of invoices per established processManage Change Orders in the ERP systemNew vendor setup processPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 2 years of experience using ERP system (Sage Intacct or Oracle) for Procure to Pay (P2P) preferredWorking knowledge of overall P2P processExceptional communication skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors and contractorsMust be an effective team player working with various stakeholders across departmentsStrong office and PC skills including ERP SystemWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
