Responsibilities Job Purpose: Execute, design, develop and implement software and system tests using C#, test frameworks and profiling tools Software testing according to our test plans using real hardware and software simulators as well Source code management, including versioning, branching, merging, tagging Create and maintain test plans with Azure DevOps Create new bugs or backlog items using Azure DevOps Knowledge of build pipelines using Azure DevOps Basic knowledge of VM, Hyper-V Knowledge of scripting Technical skills/ expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in data structures, algorithms and programming including the use of arrays, lists, dictionaries, basic sorting, searching and data structure traversal and retrieval algorithms. if applicable, demonstrate basic understanding of compilers, linker and interpreters and use of local coding standards. Experience with at least one software framework in a professional capacity Demonstrates a basic understanding of design patterns Demonstrate working knowledge of version control features like add, check in, check out, revert, changelog/history, update/sync. able to diff between versions to determine changes between versions and debug. Demonstrate effective use of ide to write, compile, run, and debug the code Demonstrate basic understanding of devops build pipelines or similar technology Demonstrate effective use of task management software for tracking work and collaboration with the team Knows basic database concepts, normalization, acid, transactions and can write simple selects Has written unit tests and comes up with unit test cases for the code that is being written Has written automation tests and comes up with automation test cases Demonstrate proficiency in problem solving, analytical and debugging skills Experience using the development/qa methodology and strategy in day to day tasks and basic understanding of software engineering best practices Qualifications Essential: Bachelor of Science - Information Technology (also graduates) with a minimum of 2-5+ years' of experience Preferred: Master of Science Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (also graduates)
