Responsibilities Develop and maintain engineering software for use in the energy industry. Analyze requirements and architecture to perform design and implementation of software applications. Prioritize and plan work to accomplish goals in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Provide high-quality work in a timely manner with some direction from senior technical staff. Demonstrate understanding and adherence to the software development process. Employ software engineering methods and practices to create artifacts to support the implementation and support of software products. Evaluate the existing implementation of a large, complex legacy system to determine and proceed with optimal resolution of issues and implementation of enhancements. Resolve customer issues with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Work effectively with other developers, QA, Support and documentation staff on an Agile Scrum team to create quality software that is accurate, robust, and maintainable. Support the creation of documentation and training material. Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Qualifications Experience performing responsive web development (HTML, CSS) Experience working with C# and .Net Framework Experience with REST API development Good knowledge of OOD/OOP Experience implementing standard web design patterns Experience in software architectual design Strong diagnostic skills to analyze, track, trouble-shoot, and solve complex problems and design appropriate solutions Ability to prioritize and perform work independently
