Responsibilities Has responsibility for supporting testing efforts of Weatherford's assets. Duties include researching and loading well data, compiling, organizing, and front-end analysis of data; creating and manipulating map data, utilizing commercial software, database management; and assisting with project development and documentation reporting. Know and understand Weatherford's Operational Excellence and Performance System (OEPS) and the Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE) policies and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. Assist the Eng. Director and HR to recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action. Supervise and maintain day to day rig operations and personnel Maintains competency and training records of rig personnel. Maintain running account of rig site expenses, tracks inventory, tracks and issues PO's on expenses. Assist with inventory and maintain documents and ensuring the appearance of rig facility and test equipment is maintained. Develop, implement and maintain a schedule of tests to be performed. The schedule shall meet the requirements of the engineering departments while permitting effective use of Rig Hands/Technicians and utilization of equipment and facilities. Responsible to ensure that all rig procedures are properly reviewed, maintained and approved. Understands and develops the competencies required to operate rig/testing site equipment such as rig mud pumps, draw-works, top drive, DP make up equipment, drilling data recorder, pick-up and laydown machine, milling simulator, mobile crane, and forklifts. Can demonstrate, apply knowledge and able to perform the hands-on functions of rig and testing equipment, including rigging up/down, operating equipment, hazard identification and risk assessments, equipment maintenance, and trouble shooting. Assist in solving field problems, clarifying customer requirements, and technical product support. Provide and establish test data for product performance or customer service tests. Maintain a Preventative Maintenance schedule for all rig equipment and keep all equipment in calibration and good working condition. Proactively schedules maintenance through out the year based on testing schedule. Interacts with 3rd party service providers on site during testing and or maintenance of rig equipment. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by manager Qualifications Skills & Knowledge Essential Proficient computer skills, Office 365 Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory skills. Organizational skills. Ability to work well with all levels of personnel. Ability to operate rig and testing equipment. Preferred Extensive knowledge of operation of rig and testing equipment. Minimum Qualifications Essential Experienced in rig and maintenance operations 1-5 years in an oil field related environment Ability to communicate with Engineering groups about their technical needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate working knowledge of the electric motors and controllers, mud pump operation and maintenance, flow meters, water and oil based muds, hydraulic power unit and their control systems, Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within an Engineering/Mechanical Lab setting. 5-10 years experience in an oil field related test lab environment
