Weatherford is currently seeking a Software Engineering Manager who is a Key role, focal point in the Country for all Team (Developers, Testers and Technical Writers) The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring that all process from conceptualizing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art software application in well drilling and completion are being carried out and complied with the requirements. The successful candidate will work with multiple experts to improve develop and sustain solutions and create new solutions addressing energy industry challenges energy in a business-effective way. Will manage the entire team, taking care of all the necessary (Onboarding new members, facilitate tools, manage the budget) Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, or mathematics8+ years of technical experience in Software Engineering, or Software Development (Previous experience as Developer) At least 4+ years proven experience in leading technical projects and developing technical professionals In-depth knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and build processes Financial skills Previous experience as Manager (Leading a Team) Fully bilingual (English-Spanish only)
