Responsibilities Weatherford have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the team in Aberdeen. The Geozone Procurement Manager is responsible for executing company procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve objectives to ensure assurance of supply, maintain service levels, meet business requirements, and mitigate risks; seeking maximum value for the company including agreed time and cost. This role ensures execution of procurement channel and category strategies in delivering of the company internal projects and 3rd party products/services when part of company customer solutions. Continuous improvement of Procurement processes to achieve gains in savings, productivity and quality. Integrate existing Procurement (MFG/Operations/Engineering) into the mainstream SCM organization and close gaps that exist in current processes. The role will report to the Hemisphere GZ Supply Chain Sourcing Leader. Duties & Responsibilities: Leads and coaches the Geozone and/or Regional Procurement Team to meet or exceed procure-to-pay operational metrics, monitoring and analysing owned programs, process solutions, key metrics and process-oriented tasks, focusing on defining weekly/monthly actionable remediation plan to optimize performance and productivity inventory levels - Open Order date Management including cancellations Spend Under Contract Part Number Usage Power BI report follow up and action plans for missed savings Standard Procurement training for all buyers and team leads Collaborate with business development role to automate and improve purchasing system Helps define, implement and monitor centralization of the Operations and Manufacturing procurement organization to buy goods and services through a HUB procurement team by supporting strategic buys by PL and commodity. Accountable for the performance of the Geozone and or Regional procure-to-pay process, leading the development of program and/or process solutions to meet business objectives and deliver continuous improvements. Strategically partner with organizational stakeholders to source and procure Goods and Services needed in the Geozone and or Region. Develops and executes strategic plans and initiatives across the company's businesses and or Geozone/Region pursuing optimization of the total cost of ownership, establishing plans, directions and controls. Monitors adherence to Company approved Supplier contracts and agreements to achieve competitive advantages and add value to the business. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level contributors. De-escalate conflicts between team members and provide feedback on job performance. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline. Minimum 10+ years of experience in procurement, general/strategic sourcing, supply chain management or similar experience. Supply Market expertise in the Oil and Gas Industry. Solid knowledge of e-sourcing tools and methologies. Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub. Experience in negotiating both domestic and international agreements. Demonstrated track record for delivering significant and measurable savings in a large, complex and fast-moving organization. Proficient in MS Office suite. Preferred: Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master degree. 12+ years of experience in a Supply Chain position. Experience in working across various functions, businesses and regions. Certified Purchasing Professional CPP, CIPS, CSPC or CPM.
