Responsibilities Top level planning position for Repair and Maintenance group. Reviews job orders to determine work priorities. Schedules repair and maintenance on product line equipment. Supervises activities of Repair & Maintenance personnel. Allocates activities of workers. Works with Repair and Maintenance Technicians to schedule workload. Primarily activity is at workshop, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, implementing mandatory modifications and executing and/or planning preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment and tools, helping to mitigate assets related non-productive time and improve overall field service delivery performance. He/she may be required to attend a client location to perform his/her duties whenever an R&M task is deemed necessary to carry over a field operation. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (not listed in any particular order) Observe, test, and evaluate operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction. Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance for surface equipment Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear. Diagnosing faults (trouble shooting) and completing necessary failure analysis documentation Repair, replace, adjust, and align components of equipment. Clean and lubricate parts and equipment. Test-run repaired equipment to verify adequacy of repairs. Fabricate replacement parts. Providing technical support when necessary Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings Managing mechanic supplies, inventory and equipment Maintaining repair and maintenance statistical records Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Following QHSE related Management Systems compliant to industry standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, API Q2) The following professional certifications are not required but any of the following: CMRP, CRE, CQE, are desired. Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford Perform Personnel and Facility Audits Provide training and assessments in WCAP Help repair tools when needed Assist Lunch and Learns, customer presentations Provide Jar Placements Assist JDE Transactions for Jar Shops Qualifications An ability to work well under pressure Good verbal and written communication skills Relevant technical knowledge Problem-solving skills Efficiency and organisation Teamworking skills Ability to follow repair manuals General knowledge of equipment diagnosis and repair Mechanical aptitude Required Education Technical Diploma (2 years) Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar post with relevant experience. Extensive technical knowledge/experience (5-8 years) in Oil Field Drilling Service tools and managing Maintenance and Repair facilities.
