Responsibilities JOB SCOPE: We have an exciting opportunity for a second or third year LLB student to join our Legal Team. This opportunity will provide a great insight into life as an international in-house lawyer in the oil and gas industry. You will gain valuable experience working with people across our organisation; from Operations to Finance to Human Resources, in the UK and overseas. The placement will last around 6-12 weeks and will be based at our Altens, Aberdeen location. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Legal research in a variety of areas; including corporate, contract and commercial law. Drafting board minutes and preparing Companies House forms. Assisting with the administration of contracts and purchase orders; both customer and supply chain. Assisting with the preparation of legal contract summary documents for key customer contracts. Supporting lawyers in the UK, Nigeria and Azerbaijan with ad hoc tasks. Qualifications SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Strong communication skills. An eagerness to learn. Ability to work as part of a team.
