**THIS ROLE IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $2,000 SIGN-ON BONUS**Our Water Technologies Division is currently searching for an Electrical Engineering Technician at our Minnetonka, MN plant.First Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMCore Competencies:Programming and operation of machine control equipmentElectrical code and industry standards related to automation and controlIdentification, investigation, escalation, and resolution of impediments to electrical assembly and testing of equipmentPrimary Responsibilities:Investigate and communicate production obstacles to engineering as an active participant in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) processCoordinate with facilitators when engineering changes are implementedAssist technicians in electrical and controls troubleshootingSubject matter expert in electrical code, industry standardsPossess expert knowledge of operation and startup of reverse osmosis and electrodialysis machinesPrioritize workload based on schedule and need for immediate supportRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productEnsure safe operation of equipment and be a champion for proactive safety practicesEffectively interface with Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and EHSQualifications/Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (manufacturing, assembly, engineering, maintenance, etc.)Proficiency with basic computer functions: email, Microsoft Office productsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings (P&ID/PFD, electrical schematics, mechanical assembly drawings, etc.)Desired Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED2+ years of prior experience in manufacturing, ideally related to water purificationPrior experience in process control, automation, and machine operationPreference towards hands-on workExperience with CAD software, redlining4-year engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, chemical, or other relevant fieldAbility to work with minimal supervisionConsistently shows ability and desire to drive towards issue resolutionAdopt and demonstrate a desire for continuous improvementProficient with SAP or similar enterprise softwareStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsWe offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.We realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
