The Water Technologies & Solutions business has an opportunity for a Sales Account Manager in the Gulf Coast region. The person in this role will build customer relationships and lead the Water Technologies & Solutions commercial team to develop, negotiate, and close service contracts that focus on risk transfer and customer value management including, but not limited to: customer process audits, piloting, operations and maintenance contracts, and service agreements. Key Responsibilities:Manage the entire sales process including lead generation, qualifying of opportunities, forecasting, and closing dealsProspect, identify needs and create partnerships with customersCoordinate/generate the development of proposals and quotationsAccurately define opportunities including client benefits, key performance indicators, customer assets, service scope, key deliverables, timingDrive scope, commercial and legal negotiations with support from regional services team, legal, finance, and HRDevelop and maintain knowledge of all WTS products and service offeringsFoster a strong partnership with other WTS commercial teams to maximize synergy with their accounts and growth initiativesOur ideal candidate will be located in the Gulf Coast area (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas/Ft Worth) and have experience working in the food and beverage, microelectronics, chemical processing, and hydrocarbon processing markets. You will have a strong technical foundation in the water treatment industry with experience actively selling to customers at different levels and roles within their organization.Core Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Engineering ANDAt least 5 years' sales work experience in the industrial or municipal water industryOther Useful Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated excellent computer experienceExperience with SalesForce.com or other CRM systemExperience in the application of the principals of strategic sellingDemonstrated excellent communication skillsOperations, maintenance, outsourcing, service, and/or process design experience in the water and wastewater treatment industryCreative, collaborative, and self-directedAt SUEZ, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
