Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is seeking a Quality Assistant/ Admin for existing and upcoming projects in Ontario, Port Hope.
Key Responsibilities:
 

Assisting with the development of QMS project level policies, processes, and procedures as per ISO 9001 requirements
Providing departments with quality support and c oordinates between departments for any quality related items
Maintaining quality management documentation, such as quality action logs, equipment lists, equipment maintance log, equipment inspection tracking list, training matrix, training audits
Participates in internal/ external audits as required
Supports the Quality Manager in overseeing the QMS implementation
Ensures quality records are filled in accordance with Wood's QMS requirements
Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality policies:
Delivers timely and effectives administration support to the quality function and the ongoing maintenance of quality systems and databases
Maintains effective information storage systems at the program level to enable easy retrieval of QA/QC documents and data
Supports regular compilation and reporting of quality related QA/QC data for management reporting and review purposes
Supports quality and management systems communications, training and inductions
Supports the management system management of change process (including publishing of new or revised content and the removal of obsolete content, new project start up, etc.)
Maintenance of all records demonstrating full traceability of changes to management systems
Input to the ongoing improvement of quality systems and applications for continual improvement
Overseeing the training management platform and follow up for any outstanding documents
Administers the training management platform and keeps it up-to date
Follows up on missing/ expired training records
Conducts and tracks an inventory of the equipment (measuring and testing; heavy equipment) used and inspected on the project sites; conducts monthly meetings to ensure the equipment database is up-to date

 
Skills / Qualifications

 
 
 

College Diploma with two (2) to three (3) years relevant experience;
Strong Microsoft Applications experience, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
Exposure and experience with ISO 9001 is a plus;
Strong communication and written skills (Reports neatly written, legible, and provide a good understanding of the conditions in the site for the day);
