Join our TPS Technology Team Join our TPS Service Engineering team to develop next generation digital application for Oil & Gas installed base to improve reliability, availability. Lead team to shape low carbon solution and energy transition. Partner with the best As a Staff Software Engineer- JAVA, you will be a technical expert leading developing and maintaining engineering application software for use in Baker Hughes Valves business. You'll be responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature set.As a Staff Software Engineer- JAVA, you will be responsible for:Develop complex JAVA code for applications.Work closely with local engineering team and global product management team to develop high quality web and mobile application digital productsResponsible for new development of Valve asset management software product according to specific requirements, including front-end/back-end and database layersLead technology development and project execution resulting on time deliveryVerify and conduct design document, define function, structure, interface and other specificationParticipate in and lead code reviews for developed featuresResponsible for digital products performance improvementDesign and build solutions for different digital products integrationWorking with testing team to define, review, and execute test cases Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:B.S. or above in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline5+ years web (and mobile) application development experience in Microsoft .net platform using C#/ASP.net/MVC and related technologiesFamiliar with multi-tier application architectingFamiliar with web technologies, HTML/JavaScript/CSS and Ajax, JQuery, etc.Familiar with database, especially OracleExperience in website performance optimizationExperience in Java/PythonExperience in Agile development processExperience in industry digital products developmentGood written and oral English skills About Us With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
