Our team is the last line of defense for quality before it goes to our customers.Partner with the bestThe Regional Commercial Leader will be working across the Subsea Production System (SPS) and Services (ISM) opportunities in preparing proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Delivering the pursuit and execution of all early engagement studies within the region, in accordance with the strategy for the business.The Regional Commercial Leader will be responsible for: Supporting the APACI Regional Commercial Director and the APAC OFE business team with the identification, strategic direction and execution of the Early Engagement strategy within BH OFE.Using strong existing networks within customer organizations and industry to identify and generate early engagement opportunities that generate pull-through business for BH and OFEEngaging with identified early engagement pursuits in conjunction with the sales team, the Pursuit Leader will work to define the best strategy to delivery the early engagement work including technical and commercial.Shaping account and pursuit strategies to maximize business potential for OFE and across BH in conjunction with the regional sales team.Building "trusted expert" status with customers to position BH solutions to meet the value drivers of the end user.Leading pursuits / projects, engaging the organization to deliver optimized technical solutions, schedule, commercial models and delivering the cost and margin in line with market. Collaborating with Commercial, Engineering & Sourcing teams for the allocation of competent resource to pursuits within his / her region,Ensuring all early engagement work is executed to the satisfaction of the customer and helps position BH to maximise scope. Supporting transition to OFE organisation as projects enter execute phases.Identifing and modeling all commercial scenarios associated with the early engagement work scope to ensure adequate management of TOTEX solutions and identify the best cost and price outcomes for the customer and Baker HughesSelecting sales and engineering input the final solution ( from customer feedback) both technical and commercial and ensure that all commercial and execution risks are identified and included in the proposed pursuit execution plan.Handling author, assemble, present and promote high quality early engagement documents that communicate a compelling business case to customers.Managing pursuits from early engagement through to tender and transition to execution where necessary, ensuring continuity of the technical, commercial, risk and margin of the pursuit.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline with 10+ years relevant experienceHave experience in pursuit management or front-end customer engagement, tendering and execution, particularly in Concept development/selection, Pre-FEED and FEED stages.Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.Be able to produce and communicate compelling business value propositions.Have strong understanding of commercial models and risk management resulting in a comprehensive early engagement solution.Have practical knowledge of all aspects of the Subsea Systems Engineering Lifecycle from New Product Initiation, Tender development, Project Engineering, System Integration Testing, Installation, commissioning, and operationsHave proven technical understanding of Subsea Production SystemsHave broad knowledge of processes, methods and procedures within project managementHave proven experience in commercial and/or technical roles within the Oil and Gas industry (Subsea or SURF preferred) Have strong business acumen, commercial orientation and business development skillsBe able to travel internationally, particularly within the Asia Pacific region for project needs and for short term assignments.Have good English proficiency.Work in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
