Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users' needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed.
As a JR Pipe Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

Design flexible pipe data sheets to meet the client material requisition considering industry standards, company's design tool, guidelines, and test data base.
Providing design engineering support from bid acquisition through to project execution, supporting under direct supervision, the work of the systems design and engineering group
The undertaking of calculations and analyses using a combination of in-house and general software as well as hand calculations resulting in the production of Engineering reports and other design documents.
Release Technical Report and Technical Proposal for the Flexible Pipe as per project requirement.
Delivering products as part of a team. Working together with functional teams.
Communicating with immediate team and supervisor. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.

To be successful in this role you will:

 
 

Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical, Naval, Chemistry, Materials/ M etallurgy or Petroleum)
Hold active CREA
Advanced/Fluent english (required)
Have Experience in Oil & Gas industry is desirable
Have good spoken communication
Have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Have effective problem identification and solution skills
