Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Civil/Structural Designer to join our team in Melbourne on an 12 months contract. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing day to day supervision of a team of designers utilising AUTOCAD and PDMS, ensuring delivery of fit for purpose design solutions to project requirements that comply with local laws and regulations, as well as industry and Company codes, standards and practices. Skills / Qualifications 12 years minimum experience in the Oil and Gas industry At least 8 years shall have been in a designer role in the civil/structural discipline A technical associate's degree or equivalent in education and/or experience Demonstrated capability of performing the full range of discipline design and analysis Demonstrated ability to work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
