Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for monthly analysis and ad hoc reviews of global PPE data including: Asset Rollforward Preparation and Analysis Intercompany Markup Elimination Preparation and Analysis Monthly reviews of Fixed Assets Overall (Dep. Exp M/M, Balance Sheet Flux, Product Line Flux) Revised Unposted Entries (RUE) - Fixed Asset clearing account Construction in Process (CIP) Asset Sales reports for cash flow reporting Various daily integrity checks via Showcase reports AFE Database troubleshooting as required Identify and recommend process improvements and simplification. Write and/or update SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) related to Fixed Assets as needed. Stay current on fixed asset accounting requirements by attending Technical Accounting Meetings and/or Trainings. Responsible for accounting for at least one entity's fixed assets monthly from start to finish including: Running of depreciation across multiple ledgers Capitalization/Disposal of assets based on approved requests Performing reconciliations and validations monthly Monitor and resolve cash clearing Perform Top Side Entries as needed Responding to Statutory and Internal Audit requests related to Fixed Assets Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance 5+ years Accounting Experience Excel, Word, SharePoint Self-Motivated Diplomacy Excellent communication skills Knowledge of GAAP Strong understanding of debits and credits Ability to understand complex scenarios PREFFERED: PowerBI, Advanced Excel JDE, Hyperion (HFM, Smartview, Essbase) Familiarity with multi-currency, international environment Familiarity with multiple ledger entities
