We collaborate with teams to solve complex technical challenges and design future innovations.Partner with the bestAs the IT Finance Product Manager, you will work in lock-step with application or domain leaders acting as a product manager to create a clear strategic direction that will be delivered by the product development team. You will direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and deliver product features and functions by balancing customer needs with business strategy, minimized defects, and technical debt.As an IT Finance Product Manager, you will be responsible for:Working with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products Owning the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases Prioritizing continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs Demonstrating expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity Engage frequently (80%) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions Owning and managing the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready Collaborating with UX in design decisions, demonstrating deep understanding of technology stack and impact on final product Conducting customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas Partnering with the Service Owner to ensure healthy development process Be regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology; translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning Demonstrating superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team Demonstrating excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape Mentoring junior team members Fuel your passionHave Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Have 6 years of experience in IT and Finance Have strong technical expertise in the underlying design and architecture of (the applicable product) Have strong Business Analysis skills and ability to translate requirements to enterprise software features Have experience leading teams in a formal software development lifecycle environment following a formal project management and governance process Have significant experience with waterfall and iterative software implementation approaches (Agile, XP, DSDM, Lean and FDD) Have experience in areas such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security Be expert proficiency in tools supporting SDLC such as Jira, Rally, Aris, MS Project, Smart Sheet, LoadRunner, etc. Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
