We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools. Partner with the best The DS Product Performance Engineering Team is looking for a self-contained, self-motivated and structured Engineer to join our team. It will be a unique opportunity to join a cross discipline team working with state of the art technologies in the energy development industry.As an Electrical Engineer - Product Performance Engineering (m/f/d) , you will be responsible for: Developing and Simulating of analogue and digital hardware. Developing and building-up of test circuitry and environments Modifying and conversion of schematics Handling Disposition of deviations in manufacturing, quality and assembly Creating and implementing of engineering change orders Testing and qualification of electronic components Supporting of temperature tests incl. processing and evaluating of test data Collaborating with Product Development Engineering (PD ENG) and Central Service Delivery (CSD) to support tool/ service delivery Creating of technical reports and documentation Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have more than 5 years of experience in digital or analogue hardware through internships, diploma projects or work experience Have a good knowledge in the technology of electronic components and systems as well as measurement and control engineering Have a good communication and reporting skills, verbally and written Be a Self-contained, self-motivated and structured to work within a worldwide functioning interdisciplinary team Have a Good written and verbal English skills, due to working in an international diverse working environment. Have a practical experience in the above mentioned area of expertise gathered during internships, thesis and/or professional experience.
