The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and controlling RRR project documents as they relate to engineering design, project procurement, equipment manuals, process safety information and overall integration of project information into SAP and working closely with EPC as main source of basic data.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure 100% data retention in project shared folders using SharePoint. Develop and track a project document control and revisioning process. Review and work with the Engineering team to ensure that all engineering design data is stored in compliance with OSHA PSM, EHS RMP and Suez internal standards.Work in SAP PM to ensure all equipment and spare part is entered with supporting materials attached and proper maintenance tasks and intervals set up. Assist the Project Management team with building status updates and updating the project plans using Microsoft Project.Ensure that all commissioning documents are created, signed and retained by the Project Team in an accessible location.Work with the local maintenance, engineering and operations teams to ensure the proper handover of project information.Ensure all new process and maintenance trainings are documented and retained, and attendees sign off on training completion. Ensure project records are in order regarding all project activitiesRecognize that external and internal parties are dependent on quality and timeliness of output. Coordinated with all relevant shareholders.Participate in project status meetingsPerform a Lessons Learned exercise for continuous improvement of the document control process.Independently undertake actions, make recommendations or provide notification when potential problems and opportunities are discovered.This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the operation and management of business.Minimum Skills and QualificationsRelevant experience including 10 years in document control with at least 5 in an engineering office.Eligibility RequirementsWilling and able to work additional hours as necessary to maintain project schedules.Willing and able to manage, drive and give presentations and participate in meetings, the document flows and status of the RRR project.Advanced word processing and spreadsheet skills.Ability to manipulate database programs.Desired CharacteristicsHighly organized and performs well in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of engineering, construction and process terminology and be able to use terms appropriately both orally and in written communication.Capable to work in an international environment at different time zones.Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and making sound decisionsTeam player willing to work in complex project teamsExperience with Office 365 is a plus.Basic analytical experienceExperience in data organization and storageMay receive direction and/or work from multiple managers/supervisors.We offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.We realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
