Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Project Engineer to be based in our Melbourne office. The ideal candidate would act as the main client interface and lead a team to deliver projects. Hands-on experience with directly managing projects with previous oil and gas service providers would be strongly preferred. Responsibilities Project manage projects from front end design, through to detailed design, procurement, construction, hand over and close-out. Responsibility for the cost, schedule and technical success of the project Stakeholder engagement and management Statement of Requirements throughout the phasing of the project from concept, detail design, and site implementation of the company quality management system for the project Implementation of the company quality management system for the project Skills / Qualifications Minimum 8 years direct Project Management experience managing EPC or EPCM oil and gas related projects Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team and clients Hands-on and performance driven Senior Project Engineer Bachelor's Degree in engineering Demonstrated strong commitment to safety and implementation of strong change management practices Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
