In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.As an Electrical Engineer - Hardware Design (m/f/d), you will be responsible for:Designing of high temperature analog, digital and power electronics systemsWorking on SPICE Simulation of electronic circuitsTesting and characterization of electronic circuits under high temperature and vibration Developing of test systems including hardware and softwareQualifying of electronic components for high temperature applicationsSupporting of the PCB layoutWorking with modern lab equipment for RF applications like network, spectrum, and impedance analyzer Presenting of results in design reviews as part of the technology development process and preparation of design documentation Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have above average M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant Engineering or Physics disciplineDemonstrate designing of high precision analog and digital electronics covering the entire signal chainHave experience with signal conditioning, integrity and error modelingShow knowledge of low noise design techniques including filters, grounding and shielding practices, power system noise analysisDemonstrate experience in measurement systems comprising RF transmitters and receivers Have prior experience in power system modeling & design for linear and switching supplies, inverters, AC/DC converters is beneficialHave good knowledge of packaging technologies for electronic components and sensors for extreme environments Demonstrate good understanding of modeling and simulation using Spice based simulators (SIMetrix ), MATLAB/Simulink and similar toolsDisplay good communication skills with internal and external suppliers and customersDemonstrate good written and verbal English skills, good presentation and writing skillsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
