Come be part of something special - start your journey today! Project Support OperatorProject Support Operator oversees equipment design, installation, commissioning from an operability perspective. Essential Functions Statement(s) Support all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations.This position is the representor of operations for operational feasibility as it relates to all project design, construction, commissioning, PSSR and operation. Part of a multi-functional team in commissioning activities for projects.Responsible for developing, implementing detailed procedures and training unit operators for clearing, properly using the LOTO procedure and permitting maintenance activities Develop operating procedures for new and updated equipmentDevelop LOTO procedures for new equipmentDevelop training materials for new equipmentDevelop maintenance Shutdown Procedures for new equipmentBe a Training Coordinator/Mentor to operations for all new operational activitiesActively participate test runs on new equipment reviewing and commenting on the operabilityParticipate on design reviews, PHAs, quality control reviews, kick-off meetings, etc. Work with project team to define and document, key performance criteria and alarm logic Setup and review basic maintenance parameters to allow proper functioning of work notifications when equipment needs to be updated or repaired. Ensure all new equipment is labeled and identified according to company standards and industry best practices. Maintain Housekeeping to the highest standard (sweep, wash down, label, organize, paint areas) to sustain the highest level of the 5S programAssist with Contractor oversite as it relates to the installation and operation of new equipment. Other tasks as assigned or as they ariseQualificationsHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Required Experience, successful candidate must possess and utilize the following:Five plus years related batch chemical reactions formulation experience with highly hazardous chemicalsbe a champion for change, embrace and lead continuous improvement support and participate in 5S program and drive sustainability throughout the Sitecomplete all EHS specific training in a timely basisknowledge of process equipment and equipment operationsparticipate in EHSS program including entering concern reports, PHAs, incident investigations, etc.be a positive role model and lead by positive exampleparticipate in preparing tanks and equipment for inspection or repairsparticipate in PSSR for all project workStrong computer skills, including SAP, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and the InternetTeam player Customer focused, positive attitudePhysical Demands/Conditions RequirementsAbility to work additional hours as necessary to maintain project schedules.
