KNOT Management Denmark A/S seeks a Superintendent with solid engineering skills and experience.
The right candidate will join our motivated team at our office in the center of Copenhagen and play an important role in expanding our newly established branch office.
Your main responsibilities will be:
· Technical management of an assigned group of advanced DP-2 shuttle tankers
· Daily communication, support and troubleshooting
· Technical budgets
· Enforcement of safety standards and polices
· Dry-dockings and repairs
· Maintenance plans
· Vessel inspections
· Compliance with flag state, class and oil majors requirements
Profile and competences
You must be proactive and able to prioritize, while simultaneously solving your tasks to a high quality level. It is important that you are able to take an active part in all trouble shooting processes, working closely together with the senior managements onboard and across the fleet utilizing your engineering skills and leadership capabilities.
You must be able to work independently and in teams depending on the situation, and you must process a good overview and understanding of the combined organization’s tasks and challenges.
Likewise we find it important that you will contribute to a positive atmosphere where you focus on options and possibilities rather than restrictions.
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications and background:
· Sea going experience as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer.
· Experience from a similar position
· Solid theoretical and practical engineering skills
· Good economical understanding and interest
· High level of safety awareness

KNOT Management Denmark A/S was established in 2014 and is a part of the Knutsen Group, a leading actor within the LNG and Shuttle tank segments.
From our small office located in the center of Copenhagen, we provide technical management to a group of advanced DP-2 shuttle tankers. At present our organization in Denmark consists of 60 employees of which 57 work as sea going officers. Globally the Knutsen Group has approximately 1500 seafarers and 170 shorebased employees.
