Global in outlook, local in practice - and with a united, shared passion for discovering solutions, we hire talented, driven people and support them to succeed, personally and professionally.Position Purpose SLB Production Facility sourcing department is looking for Sourcing Specialist with background and experience with EPC construction contractors RFP during tendering and execution of the projects.Job summary The Project Sourcing Specialist implement plans and tactics to effectively manage the sourcing activities (issue RFQ, conduct bid analysis, issue PO) related to the assigned portfolio of projects to maximize supplier performance (cost, quality, lead time) during project execution.Job Description Activities mentioned will be applicable to tendering phase, project execution phase and general business line sourcing: Implement sourcing plans with the goal of assuring specified quality, required delivery times and minimizing the total cost of the products and services. Arrange and lead supplier communications by being single point of contact for SLB during sourcing activities of an assigned equipment/service. Conduct RFI (Request for Information) to identify, assess and qualify EPC construction contractors with the focus in Middle East & North Africa Region Conduct RFP (Request Proposal) for construction scope of the projects and minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery, and cost. Select a high-performance supply base for assigned portfolio, in accordance with short-list of preferred suppliers defined by Category Managers and Product Line Sourcing Manager Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to meet specified quality, delivery and cost objectives. Execute contract negotiation and development in coordination with Sourcing Manager and Contract Specialists. Document performance to action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing events with the use of Ariba. Work closely with the Supply Manager/Leader to guarantee supply for all portfolios. Effectively communicates with and maintains the highest degree of relations between the Company and all levels of supplier personnel. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Civil), supply chain management, or a related field. Minimum: +6 years relevant experience in Sourcing & Procurement especially in Oil & Gas EPC Projects. Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a focus on RFP for EPC construction contractors. Knowledge of construction MTO including Valves, Instruments, Piping, etc. and experience in RFP for the same. Strong Negotiation Skills Familiarity with Early Production Facilities (EPF) projects and equipment is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at various departments. SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
