Duties & Responsibilities Purpose To support and add value within the process engineering department by providing technical detail to enable operations to execute the task safely, on time and to a high standard. Functions • Develop & implement effective & capable processes to meet all critical to quality (CTQ) and critical to process (CTP) requirements within manufacturing operations. • Identify continuous improvements within the manufacturing processes, support/lead such initiatives. • Develop & maintain all detailed supporting documentation for manufacturing process activities (Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Risk Assessments). • Using lean principles identify and eliminate waste within the manufacturing processes. • Establish key process metrics for monitoring & documenting process performance, capability, and quality. • Create & present reports/data/metrics/material to all levels of the organization. • Provide technical support to processes & personnel on a day-to-day basis. • Support other functions to enable a successful (safe, on time, with high quality and on budget) project execution. • Support the execution of Product and/or Process Improvement Projects, as necessary. • Participate in HSE Awareness - Observation Cards, HSE Safety Suggestions • Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. • Competent in related IT or other systems including word, excel and work specific platforms. • Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment. • Displays required levels of engagement and a positive `can-do` attitude while consistently supporting Oceaneering culture of Safety, Quality, ongoing learning and continual improvement. Any other roles or tasks as required to support our business needs including carrying out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED • An undergraduate college or university degree in a relevant engineering discipline. A strong candidate with a non-degree qualification may be considered for this position, provided they can demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role. • Lean / Six-Sigma experience will be a considerable advantage - ability to demonstrate application of improvement techniques and successful results will be required.
