Position Summary Purpose Sr. Project Coordinator (Cost Control) will be responsible for continuous measurement, analysis, forecasting and reporting of various project metrics including cost, cash, and revenues, for monitoring and recording changes as well as for implementation of aligned project specific strategies for cost control . Duties & Responsibilities Functions Core Responsibilities • Prepare and ensure that all invoicing is accurate and submitted within the assigned timescale. • Prepare and update contract CTRs required on IMDS contracts. • Control, maintain and support the delivery to Project Managers with the collation of timesheets. • Support the collate cost data from sub-contractors, including timesheet hours, expense claims and third-party invoices, and any other cost claim against the company. Verify accuracy of data and ensure all approvals are in place to enable accurate payments to sub-contractors. • Management of operations petty cash accounts. • Collection, input, and management of data to enable accurate and up-to date cost and value reporting. • Support forecast preparation monthly. • To manage the internal side of the Call offs, CTR's, VO's, Work Authorizations and Contract amendments • Aid in providing financial and commercial information for client requirements. • To ensure good communication of commercial information and documentation Operations as required Additional Responsibilities: • Assist with the preparation of tenders and the compilation of information required throughout the bid process. NON-ESSENTIAL: • The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post. • Assist with any other duties as and when required. • Undertake specific projects as instructed by management. Supervisory Responsibilities • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED • Background in Finance and previous experience of Project cost controller • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in relation to the job description Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics • Communication, written and verbal, skills • Technical writing skills • Organizing skills • Ability to collaborate and work in global team environment. • Attention to detail • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change • Business acumen • General MS Office Program skills • Exposure to O&G and/or process industries. • Ability to develop relationships with client and/or contractor personnel at various levels and from diverse cultures Working Conditions This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace • Work surface is stable (flat) Physical Activity/Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
