Duties & Responsibilities Purpose Responsible for assisting in managing installations, reactivations, and demobilizations of Subsea Robotics equipment as directed by the Regional Installation Manager in support of Fleet Management objectives. Applies specialized knowledge of survey & positioning sensors & associated engineering/integration principles & practices in the design, development, analysis and release of survey suites and subsystems through the project life cycle as an SME. This role creates & documents design/build/use specifications & guidance considering cost, application, performance, product life, manufacture, assembly, and operator knowledge-base & planned field-use. Functions ESSENTIAL • Direct installation activities and personnel at the direction of the Regional Installations Manager and in support of the Fleet requirements. • Work with area Equipment Manager to ensure equipment as provided is suitable and ready for installation, including verifying all certifications, slings, technical bulletins, etc. are up to date. • Verify all documentation is accurate and included in delivered package. E.g.: any audit documentation, certifications, manuals, as-installed drawings, etc. • Engage with rig/vessel representatives in planning all activities including the adequate support required, required services and any other location specific requirements such as zone rating and classification (e.g.: DNV). • Discuss crew evaluations and plan enhancements with Project and Operations Managers as appropriate. • Ensure all HSE goals and proactive measures are being met and participate in resolution of any/all issues (Incident reports, Tap Roots, Near Hits). • Coaches and mentors less experienced technicians/engineers/user groups • Works with discipline and cross-functional groups to troubleshoot complex problems & resolve service delivery issues • Influences strategic technology development • Work with Regional Installations, Technical, Equipment, and Operations Managers in driving down COPQ. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications REQUIRED • Three (3) to Five (5) years of installations experience to include exposure to Administrative, Office, project manager, or Operations Management; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. • Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and any other regionally mandated offshore work requirement documents as appropriate. • Offshore work also required (approximately 100 days per year); Includes international Travel outside of the The UK Continental Shelf.
