Position Summary PurposeThe primary role of this position is to work with outside sales team to prepare bids and proposals in conjunction with theoperating groups. (Engineering, Manufacturing, Scheduling, and Purchasing). Duties & Responsibilities FunctionsESSENTIAL• Work extensively with operating groups to prepare bid cost spreadsheets, price quotations, drawings, and product.delivery schedules to meet customer RFQ requirements.• Work with the bids and proposals staff to process sales orders.• Assist account managers with hand over meeting and follow-up activities with the operating groups at the completionof the bidding process.Supervisory Responsibilities• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Reporting Relationship• Reports to Project Manager. Qualifications QualificationsREQUIRED• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration discipline• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook or similar email system.DESIRED• Subsea oil and gas or heavy equipment industry experience• Sales experience• Familiarity or ability with software packages such as PeopleSoft and CRMKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other CharacteristicsPresents a positive manner with customers. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.Expresses ideas clearly and concisely in writingWorking ConditionsThis position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.• Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place.• Work surface is stable (flat).Physical Activity/RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully performthe essential functions of this job.
