Document Controller Description: Supports reviewing information by assisting in the enforcing of controlled processes and practices for the creation, capture, review, revision, issuance, distribution, retention and ready access to project information, documents, data and the related systems. Supports efforts to configure, review document review workflows, troubleshoots user issues related to document control processes and project electronic document management systems (EDMS) and other technical solutions and tools. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides support in validating, capturing, and tracking all transmittals, deliverables and other project records, information and data and supports in accepting them to the project EDMS.Assists to configure and track project document reviews and provides support to assigned reviewers as needed.With guidance, provides end users support and assistance with researching or retrieving documents, basic use of project repositories and troubleshoots systems disruptions.Supports the coordination of new user onboarding, account creation and access/permission approvals.Works very closely with Project Management and the Information Management Manager to coordinate with contractor counterpart and internal document control team to manage deliverables.Provides support in configuring and deploying workflow templates and distribution groups as needed.Ensures documents and deliverables conform to project contract requirements, project procedures and company policy.Supports the review and validation of project KPI dashboards data and facilitates reconciling any discrepancies.Education HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Management, Information Technology or Applied Sciences preferred.Experience3+ years of Engineering Project Document Control and administration of EDMS systems required.3+ years of Project Document Control experience in the LNG, Oil & Gas, Energy Sector preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficiency working with Microsoft Office suite applications, Sharepoint Onine and O365.Proficiency working with .pdf, AutoCAD, .csv file formats, electronic document management systems, data entry or other computer input preferred, quality management systems and processes.Knowledge and understanding of business technology, technology platforms and integrations.Knowledge and proven application of Document Control principles and practices.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.Strong communications skills.Strong initiative with the ability to work independently as well as with a diverse, complex and broad project team.Licenses and CertificationsCertified Document Controller (Consepsys) required.Aconex Accredited Associate required.Business Process Management Specialist (AIIM) preferred.Modern Records Management Specialist (AIIM) preferred.Document Controller Description: Supports reviewing information by assisting in the enforcing of controlled processes and practices for the creation, capture, review, revision, issuance, distribution, retention and ready access to project information, documents, data and the related systems.
