Duties & Responsibilities Purpose As the Global Engineering Lead for Reliability and Maintenance, you will be a key member of the IMDS Global Engineering Services team, responsible for developing and implementing engineering growth strategies, best practices for executing maintenance programs to maximize the uptime and performance of our oil and gas equipment and facilities across the globe. You will lead a team of engineers as part of a matrix organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams and other Oceaneering divisions to ensure the highest level of reliability, safety, and efficiency in our operations. Functions ESSENTIAL • Reliability and Maintenance Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive reliability and maintenance growth strategy that aligns with the company's global growth objectives. This includes asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering. • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of reliability and maintenance engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Provide guidance and training to ensure the team's success. • Global Growth: Build and lead a global engineering team, coordinating and supporting projects in various regions. • Project Execution: Support regions in development implementation and operational plans to execute maintenance engineering scopes. Provide SMEs support during handover from business development to tendering to project execution. Potential for "light touch" support during project lifecycle. • Business Development: Support regional business development teams and global engineering focused business development representatives as RRM Subject Matter Experts including Identify new markets and business opportunities for our engineering services, • Business Development: Support BD team with the creation and execution of growth strategies, including market research, client engagement, and partnership development. during client discussions and tendering. • Reliability Standards: Establish and maintain industry best practices and standards for reliability and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements. • Budget Management: Where appropriate manage the department's budget, making strategic decisions to allocate resources effectively and control costs. • Software Systems: Support with the identification, evaluation, development, and implementation of software which can support and benefit the RRM services line. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, safety, procurement, and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of reliability and maintenance efforts. • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative approaches to enhance reliability and maintenance practices to support global growth. • NON-ESSENTIAL • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects • The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post • Assist with any other duties as and when required • Undertake specific projects as instructed by management Safety Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment. Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment. Supervisory Responsibilities • This position may have direct and indirect (matrix) supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline in a relevant subject (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical or related field) • Proven experience in reliability and maintenance engineering within the oil and gas industry, with significant years in a leadership role. • Proven track record of excellent problem solving and research skills, while projecting a positive, professional image • Strong understanding of equipment reliability, failure analysis, and maintenance strategies. • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards related to reliability and maintenance. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to solve real-time operational issues quickly, with good judgement. • Strong analytical and reporting skills. • Excellent organizational, motivational, and interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills DESIRED • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). • Experience in a matrixed product/service line organization is desired • Prior experience with cloud-based/SaaS solutions Closing Statement We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to advance in an international company.
