Duties & Responsibilities Purpose The Dimensional Control (DC) Manager is a global position that reports to the Chief Surveyor. The DC Manager has matrix reporting responsibilities to the regional Operations Managers and collaborates with Project Managers on specific assignments. The primary responsibility of this position is to effectively manage global DC activities within Oceaneering. The DC Manager actively participates in Oceaneering HSE and Quality Management Programs to achieve zero incidents and reduce survey COPQ. Functions ESSENTIAL Manages global DC activities. Actively promotes DC business. Operates effectively within a matrix organization with minimum supervision. Develops and maintains global DC standards. Recommend, evaluate, and adopt new DC technologies. Participates in vessel mobilization planning. Develops and manages vessel DC maintenance schedules. Manages onshore DC activities, fabrication, as-built, etc. Prepares/approves survey drawings and reports using Auto-Cad, Excel, and Word Validate and approve DC and metrology results. Directs and/or performs DC surveys and projects within budget. Liaises with client representatives. Writes and/or approves project reports. Train and assess DC personnel. Qualify and manage contracted DC services . Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED A geomatics related 4-year degree. Five (5) years of DC survey experience. Knowledge and proficiency with various forms of survey technology including; Total Station, GPS, Laser Scanning, Drone and hand-held photogrammetry. Proficient with survey calculations, AutoCAD, and MS Office business applications. Ability to execute most DC tasks including surveying, calculations, drawings, and related survey reports is required. Well organized and proficient in written and oral communication skills and time management. Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and any other regionally mandated offshore work requirement documents as appropriate.
