Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Piping Designer for our Melbourne office. Reporting into the Lead Piping Designer, this role will provide piping design support as part of developing safe designs and providing subject matter expertise for EPC projects. Responsibilities Executing assigned scopes of work, initially on a major confidential project which is currently progressing through the EXECUTE phase, the Senior Piping Designer contributes to the delivery of Engineering excellence through: Providing discipline expertise to the business Executing assigned scopes of work Supporting task delegation to team. Delivering against contract Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and business objectives Skills / Qualifications Minimum of 7 years' prior experience in piping design roles within the O&G and Petrochemical industries Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position Capable use of discipline software and proactively encourage development Must be highly proficient with using SmartPlant 3D Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills Able to demonstrate team building skills and capable of influencing people at all levels of the organisation Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn Flexible with a can-do attitude.
