Overview / Responsibilities Woodis recruiting an Finance Assistantto join our growing team in Brunei. Successful applicants will be responsible for supporting the Finance Team in all aspects of financial control of a large and complex offshore project. Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice / expense reports, recording entries Pay vendors by updating approved invoice in Invoice Register, preparing SCB payment template for TT payment, preparing payment voucher for approved invoices for cheque issuance Pay employees by receiving, verifying and circulating for approval expense reports, preparing SCB payment template for TT payment, preparing payment voucher for approved invoices for cheque issuance Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions Provide administrative support to Finance officers as and when required Skills / Qualifications Part Qualified Accountant or AAT Qualified Must be able to work under own initiative without constant supervision Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Systems Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good customer service skills and able to communicate well at all levels Adaptable and able to quickly learn new systems and procedure as a result of the constant change within the department Company Overview Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
