Wood is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager, reporting to our Senior Finance Manager to support our business in this growth trajectory. This role will see you develop a strong business partnering relationship, ensuring alignment of corporate strategy with localised business requirements, providing analysis and guidance on financial performance as the business evolves. In addition, but not limited to; Reporting business financial performance to senior management including variance analysis, accounts receivables, DSO, accruals and unbilled analysis Daily leadership, mentoring and coaching of our team, supporting individual career progressions. Ensure forecasting accuracy and predictability through the rolling forecast v monthly actual result. Engagement with commercial teams on post contract award phase in terms of margin analysis Continuous assessment of opportunities to drive improvements and commercial efficiencies, and attending key project reviews to ensure that reported financials are appropriate. Building collaborative and cohesive working relationships across key stakeholders Skills / Qualifications About You This opportunity is looking for someone, who is ready for their next step in leadership, in an opportunity that will grow with you. This opportunity will suit those who have exposure to working within the resources or project-based environment, ideally within an understanding of the EPCM contracting model but not essential. In addition you will have the following experiences/attributes; Qualified Financial/Management Accountant ideally big four trained, desirable not essential Experienced in a people services sector, exposed to labour and utilisation of workforce management Prior exposure working in a project-based finance role, understanding of a resource project life cycle Experienced with ERP systems, ideally Oracle or similar. Collborative and agile in your working approach, understanding of key business metrics in a dynamic business environment.
