Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Instrumentation, Engineering & Control (IE&C) Designer to join our project team in Melbourne CBD on 6 months contract with possibility of extension. This role will be responsible for developing I, E & C design deliverables across projects in the O&G and pharmaceutical industries in collaboration with I, E & C Engineers. Interaction with designers and engineers within the I, E & C discipline, as well as other disciplines, in a team environment will be key to create multi-discipline design packages. Responsibilities: Develop the I, E & C design for wiring diagrams, E&I layouts, and design details as required Clear and timely communication regarding design change issues Liaison, support and timely transfer of information to other disciplines Respond to technical queries Contribute to site installation and commissioning information as required Skills / Qualifications Minimum of 6 years general design drafting experience Understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements Site Survey & Site travel Ability to problem-solve effectively Attention to detail Competent with AutoCAD Competent in 3D PDMS Competent in using SPI Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
