Overview / Responsibilities Wood is looking for oil & Gas Instrumentation Engineer to support multiple greenfield and brownfield projects. The candidate shall be reporting to Lead of a project for project work and Instrument Department Head (HOD) on departmental issue. Conduct engineering analysis and recommend technical solution with minimal supervision. Generate detailed engineering deliverables such as Instrument Index, I/O list, datsheet sheets, review design drawings, etc. Perform Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor Data Review for Instrumentation packages. Potential visit to offshore platform and vendor shops. Interface with team colleagues, multi-disciplines engineering group and occasionally with client , PMT, etc. Skills / Qualifications Instrumentation Engineer shall have a minimum qualification requirement as below: Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics or equal Registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia Minimum 5 years of design engineer in the Instrumentation discipline Familiar with sizing calculation and analytical techniques/software such as SPI, etc. Experienced in oil & Gas greenfield & brownfield related engineering project Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil & Gas and Refining Industries (API, ISA, NEC / IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc.) Hard work and management skill Team work, cooperative attitude, effective communication and flexible worker Able to perform site survey onshore and offshore facilities and possess valid offshore certificate such BOSIET, etc. Company Overview Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
