Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for Electrical Engineer with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to support various greenfield and brownfield projects. The candidate shall be reporting to Lead Electrical Engineer on project matters and Instrument & Electrical Department Head (HOD) on departmental matters. To perform site survey onshore & offshore facilities. Skills / Qualifications Electrical Engineer shall have a minimum qualification requirement as below: Engineering degree in Electrical or equal Minimum 5 years of design engineer in the Electrical discipline in oil & gas projects Skill with electrical software such as ETAP, SPEL, etc. Technical execution of the engineering to properly size, specify, purchase and install a complete and operating electrical system that meets the Client requirements. Communications between the project team, the engineering and design team members to assure quality of work, and consistent technical content drawing / design packages. Sizing of overall electrical system, analysis and power system study Specification, selection and purchase of all Electrical equipment to meet the performance criteria Integrate packaged equipment into overall system design Support development of detailed design drawings including Single-lines, Plans, Details, Wiring diagrams and Fabrication Drawings Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil & Gas and Refining Industries (API, ISA, NEC / IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc.) Hard work management skill Team work, cooperative attitude, effective communication and flexible worker Able to perform site survey onshore & offshore facilities and possess valid offshore certificates such as BOSIET, etc. Company Overview Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
