Description: The Contingent EHS Professional will provide environmental, health, & safety support to the Delaware Basin North Business Unit maintenance team. The contingent EHS Professional will ensure the implementation of any current or new programs, to continually improve Client's EHS activities while providing ongoing EHS technical support and guidance to the construction team. The position requires a broad knowledge and understanding of EHS issues as it relates to oil and gas facility production maintenance activities. Job Description: • Sets a high standard for safety performance while performing work on Client's locations Works to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local government laws and regulations and company EHS requirements. • Participate in morning safety meetings/tail gate safety meetings and work with contractors to help solidify JHA's and Hazard recognition/mitigation. • Carries out complex EHS assignments independently Consulting with peers and subordinates when they are in doubt as to how to safely approach any work-related job situation. • Conduct field safety evaluations and report findings and corrective actions to appropriate personnel. • Participate in investigating incidents that impact the environment or safety of employees, contractors or the public. Oversee corrective actions derived from an incident investigation; Develops, gathers and maintains EHS data to compose EHS reports and regulatory documents. • Participates in EHS field reviews and training programs as may be required. Job Requirements: • Minimum of five (5) years operations oil and gas operations; oil and gas production maintenance experience preferred • Requires a thorough knowledge of EHS rules and regulations, best practices and standards • Possibility of visiting multiple well site locations on any given day of work • High school education or GED • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite • Note - This position(s) will be located near Hobbs, NM and surrounding area. This position does not provide transportation or housing, but lodging is available in the immediate area. • This position(s) will be subject to all types of weather elements, be prepared to work 10-12 hours daily, and will work a five on and two off schedule, generally Monday - Friday. • This position requires full PPE that will be the sole responsibility of the contingent EHS Professional (FRC, Steel Toe Boots, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, etc..)With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
