Overview / Responsibilities Wood is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join us in the Minerals & Metals team, leading Europe's most significant and largest critical mineral development as part of the EPCM project team. Our client's project is focused on technology advanced processing methodologies for a large-scale manganese deposit. This project is one of our global industry's progressive developments that will support both local and wider Europe goals in reaching carbon footprint commitments, as well as economic demand, working towards a sustainable circular economy. As a Lead process Engineer, you will partner closely with our client, ensuring successful outcomes to help achieve the technical and commercial success for the project, whilst driving best practice process designs in accordance with project, time, budget, safety and technical requirements. In addition, you will partner and build a cohesive relationship with internal/external stakeholders working together on reaching key milestones and project deliverables. Skills / Qualifications About You This opportunity will see you will join a cohesive and collaborative team of likeminded, agile industry peers offering access to working with leading international clients. As a highly qualified engineer with technical expertise, you will also have the following skills/attributes. Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institute in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering Relevant experience in hydrometallurgical plant design. Experience with commodities such as manganese, lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper and rare earths would be highly regarded Prior experience leading medium/large scale projects Appropriate experience in the mining or minerals processing industry Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical, literacy and numeracy skills Ability to build cohesive strong relations with our clients and internal stakeholder group Experience with process simulation software such as SysCAD and/or METSIM would be highly regarded What We Offer Working in a collegiate team culture from our centrally located Perth CBD offices, you will also enjoy free 24/7 access to an exclusive onsite gym and superb end of trip facilities to ensure you make the most of Western Australia's lifestyle.
