The Minerals Mine Worker-Helper is responsible for extracting crude materials such as barite and bentonite from mines. The Minerals Mine Worker-Helper operates heavy and mobile equipment used in mining operations, monitors performance and performs maintenance and troubleshooting in the mine environment, as required.Roles and Responsibilities:• Operate mining production equipment in a safe, efficient and compliant manner. Report deviations to mine management.• Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area.• Communicate with coworkers and management.• Ensure equipment is maintained in optimal condition using preventative maintenance systems.• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.Qualifications and Experience:• High school or GED• Must be able to work day and night shift • Must have a valid driver license• Candidate must be fluently reading, writing, and speaking English • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
