You will observe and interpret trends from sales and market intelligence to develop strategies for new business and expand existing businesses.As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for: Positioning Baker Hughes technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solutionPromoting the business value proposition of Baker Hughes technology.Working in close cooperation with regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff. Primary technical role involved in increasing market penetration through technical support and commercial strategiesHandling products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment and client conditionsCapturing customer need, aligning with the business product offering.Cooperating with (technical) sales support to realize sales.Contributing to Prices and conditions to have a certain degree of granularity. Working on the basis of predefined contracts price frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from prices and conditions.Handling diverse clients in a region.Developing proposals; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internallyHandling important clients for a product line. Department is involved in medium-large sales.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Technical Sales)Have strong oral and written communication skills. Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams.Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
