Partner with the best As an inspector, you will be responsible for: Receiving inspection of both third party and Baker designed productsThorough paperwork / databook inspectionDimensional inspection for machined partsVisual and traceability inspectionsVerifying customer requirements are metPT NDE inspection of weldsWriting and communicating nonconformance reports on product out-of-specificationPerform daily verification on inspection equipment to be in good working condition and within calibration requirementsAble to work with customer representatives and follow customer requirements per Quality PlansVerifying tests as required on all components and completed assembliesInspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies to requirementsIdentifying enhancements in processes and procedures to improve performance Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: Qualifications/Requirements: PT NDE Level II certification5 years' minimum experience in dimensional inspectionsHigh School diplomaSufficient ability to read drawings and engineering procedures and interpret technical data Desired Characteristics: ASNT Certification for NDTACCP certification is a plus / no requirementCWI (certified welding inspector) is a plus / no requirementDetail oriented, ethical leadershipSelf-starter and self sufficient Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
