Overview / Responsibilities Wood is seeking a Piping Designer to join our vibrant and growing Oil & Gas team in Leduc and Edmonton AB. Come and join #TeamWood! Key Responsibilities: Ability to attend site trips in the Edmonton area. Communication with clients Lead small projects. Create and develop 3D model using S3D. Create moderate to complex Layout of areas and modules. Modeling large equipment Reviewing and comment on vendor information Adhere to industry codes and standards. Skills / Qualifications Engineering design and drafting technology diploma or related technical diploma or certificate. 10+ years of experience in piping design and layout experience Extensive experience working with specific codes and standard practices in the Oil and Gas industry. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, SmartPlant S3D. Previously project experience in Upstream Oil Sands is preferred. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Confortable meeting with clients. Strong verbal skills. Work in Edmonton / Leduc Office.
